Great Britain is under attack

The third attempt to carry out an attack in Great Britain happened in Glasgow, Scotland. The Muslim extremists apparently think that they can panic Gordon Brown, if they just keep attacking. They knew that Tony Blair was tough-minded, but they have doubts about Gordon Brown. The Dallas Morning News online has the AP story.

The current search censorship seems to be caused by the threat of legal action

Take a look at the Electronic Freedom Foundation site, and the striking feature is the number of legal attacks against various aspects of the Internet and computing. The "Digital Millenium Copyright Act" is behind of much of the abuse, along with a tort system that is out of control. The combination of copyright enforcement and legal action against search engines that have "prohibited content" cached is a lethal mix.

It looks like Dogpile image search gives better results

I just tried the Dogpile image search and found immediately that there were racy pics there that Google and Yahoo wouldn't show. Then again, I tried some more and got less. The one that I got more with was a search for Anna Friel pics.

This is a pretty nice Anna Friel pic, but the question is if I can link directly to the pic, or do I have to link to the page.

The censored Internet sucks

I have been looking for racy pics from Animal House, and there is very little. In fact, it seems like Google Image Search and Yahoo Image Search are doing some censoring. It may be due to fear of being sued or having complaints, but it still sucks. We need uncensored web and image searches, not what we have.

With the second car bomb found, the AP story on the Dallas Morning News seems pretty silly

The Dallas Morning News seems to have changed the headline or removed the story about there being no terrorist connection to the car bomb after the second car bomb was found. The latest story is title "Second car bomb found in London".
