Is Wikileaks.org blocked in the US?

Either Wikileaks.org is blocked in the US or else it is having the equivalent of a denialof-service attack. Wikileaks has been underfire by would-be censors for publishing what they thought was the banned website list for Australia.

Well it certainly is blocked on the ACMA blacklist here in Australia. Can still see the donations page though :)

Still, there are sites that mirror the content from the old leak. I haven't yet seen a copy of the most recent list that was leaked a couple of days ago.

The intersting thing is that the Australian minister responsible for the ACMA Blacklist has denied whether the original leak was in fact a genuine ACMA Blacklist - although obviously many sites are on the list :)

So, if the older leak was not an actual ACMA Blacklist, then why should the Australian government try to prevent its publication :)
