I saw a reference to the book titled: The Future of the Internet and How to Stop It. This is a topic that is one of my primary interests. It involves freedom of speech and freedom from surveillance. We started slipping down this slope with the DCMA, the ill-conceived attempt to prevent children from seeing adult content on the internet. I has only gotten worse since September 11, 2001. Not only are they using terrorism as an excuse, but also the war on child pornography and "sexual predators". As things presently stand, we don't have a chance. You would think that an Obama administration might ease off on the abuse of privacy and censorship, but I doubt it.
